Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa – I think finding the perfect place that makes me feel right at home while traveling is a more difficult task. Especially if you are away from home for months at a time. I’m always looking for a place that has that homey feeling and that’s exactly what we found when we discovered Villas Aqua Octaviana Bali.
We stayed here for more than two months and after that we didn’t want to leave. So let me tell you about this beautiful place, and what makes it so special to us…

I searched the internet for days before I found this beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the quiet village of Umalas. It is minutes away from Seminyak and famous beach clubs like Potato Head, Ku De Ta, and The W Hotel. Hi beautiful view with warm weather right on our private market!

We loved the beautiful antique furniture in our penthouse suite. The nice thing about this hotel is that each room is decorated differently. It really feels like a little house.
There were beautiful Balinese clothes everywhere in the rooms. We loved these little personal touches. I am a sucker for details and Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa has thought of everything.
We are so stressed and tired when we get here in Bali, so getting into our jacuzzi is absolute heaven at any time of the day. This flower bath is a wonderful memory of mine.
We swim in the public pool at least twice a day. The pool is large enough to accommodate a large workout. Octaviana Bali Villa is peaceful and not too crowded. I don’t like too many tourists in one place and even though this place felt so quiet, there were enough visitors to keep me happy. There is also a spa where you can get a wonderful massage at any time of the day.

The suite comes with a large private deck, so it’s great to have meals overlooking this beautiful view. Nothing comes of this? Looking at these pictures you might think that these villas are more than your budget. No they are not! You can check this place out on their website and Booking.com and you won’t believe their cheap room rates. I had to blink a few times before I believed it. I was afraid that this would be good too, but it is true. Aqua Octaviana Bali Villas completely lived up to one of our expectations. The staff is very pleasant and optimistic. Over the last few months we have really felt at home here.
Here is another view of the pool from our backyard. We can expect it every day and that’s what we did! Morning is our favorite time of day here.
Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa has several rooms and even some rooms with a private pool. We chose the penthouse suite because it had lots of space and a view! Did I mention the view before?
You can clearly see that our villa is perfectly hidden behind lush trees, so it doesn’t feel completely enclosed. The garden is one of my favorite parts of the villas. It felt like an Asian story.

I picked up this lovely dress at Bamboo Blonde in Seminyak, Bali. As you have read in my previous posts, I am absolutely crazy about this brand.
If you prefer to be in a quiet and safe neighborhood while being only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. This is the place to be. We rented a motorbike to get everywhere faster so we stayed here, we were close enough to all the hot spots in Seminyak and Kuta. Like I said, rent a scooter or motorcycle. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to de-stress and relax for a few days.
1- Treat yourself to a delicious breakfast and enjoy it in the privacy of your suite. They serve western style breakfast as well as Indonesian food.
2- Visit the Nook Restaurant, a few minutes by scooter. Nook has perfect views over some really beautiful rice fields and their delicious food is a must try. Enjoy one of their great day trip packages!
