Hello, my name is Jodie Cunningham and I am the Center Manager at Little Flyers Darwin Childcare. I want to acknowledge the traditional owners of my workplace, the Larrakai people, and an ongoing connection to the land, water and community. I pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and elders, both past and present.
I have worked in the field of early childhood education and care for over 20 years and have a bachelor’s degree. I started my career in the early years owning and managing a childcare business in Sydney and progressed to an even more challenging role working in a remote Aboriginal community in the Central Desert region.
When I moved to Darwin as a childcare manager, I developed award-winning innovations and then more recently worked as a professional development consultant in the extended education sector. Having achieved great personal and professional achievements in my previous roles, I am now ready to embark on a new, exciting and challenging chapter in my career at Little Flyers.

Personally, I am a mother of 4 adult daughters and a soon-to-be first-time grandmother. I enjoy the outdoors and adventures as well as spending time on my bush block permanently and in harmony with nature.
