Very MerryTime will begin sailing on November 5, 2016 aboard the Disney Magic and will debut a few days later on the Disney Dream. The Disney Wonder will begin a holiday sailing on Nov. 10 (her likely first cruise since the reimagining), followed by the Disney Fantasy a week later (Nov. 19).

On Thanksgiving Day, guests celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoy the arrival of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in traditional Thanksgiving attire. Also, during special Thanksgiving cruises, NFL football games are shown live on the ships outdoor LED screens – Funnel Vision – located near the family pool.

I was surprised that the decorations stopped at the hallway, but then Cinderella’s castle only has lights at the front. By the time we reached Scuttles Cove, the decorations were complete.

From Galveston, Disney’s Wonder sails from San Juan, Puerto Rico to the warm waters of the southern Caribbean. Disney’s Wonder sails four 7-night southern Caribbean cruises that include the Flower of the Caribbean, Martinique. The Wonders of Disney will call at Tortola on two repeat cruises.

Disney Fantasy includes Tortola in the British Virgin Islands on its Eastern Caribbean sailings, while also adding a day at sea to its Western Caribbean sailings. The Disney Dream will continue to sail in the same direction as the Port Canaveral Decline. The Disney Magic splits its time between the Caribbean and the Bahamas between two ports of call in Miami and Port Canaveral. Magic will also visit Tortola starting in April.

Gold and Platinum Reserves will go on sale on October 29, 2014, followed by a general public sale on Thursday, October 30, 2014. Sailing dates marked with an asterisk (*) indicate that sailings are marked as block dates for onboard bookings.

The Disney Magic will continue three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas, as well as five-night Western Caribbean cruises from Port Miami through January. On Feb. 3, the Disney Magic will depart for Port Canaveral without passengers, where it will replace three- and four-night Bahamas cruises that run Thursdays and Sundays through March. Beginning in April 2016, the Disney Magic will transition to regular seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises. Eastern Caribbean cruises include calls at Tortola.

Fares from Miami start at $352 per person for four-night cruises for two and $440 per person for five-night cruises in Standard 11C room category. Fares from Port Canaveral start at $375 per person for three-night cruises, $500 per person for four-night cruises and $1,120 per person for seven-night cruises in a Standard Category 11C stateroom for two. Taxes, duties and port charges are not included.

On December 28, after a 7-night sailing in the Bahamas, DisneyWonder headed to San Juan for a six-night cruise. After arriving in San Juan, Disney Wonder sails a new 7-night southern Caribbean itinerary that includes a stop in Martinique, the flower of the Caribbean. To make this itinerary even more unique than Disney Magic sailings, the day at sea has been moved to the last day. It’s a nice change after your recent sailing as the port of call is busy and you’ll need a day to relax before returning to life on land. Disney’s amazing time in San Juan will be cut short with just four Southern Caribbean sailings. On February 7, the Disney Wonder will take passengers on a five-night cruise to Miami with stops in St. Kitts, Tortola and Castaway Cay.

Once in Miami, the Disney Wonder will be running a series of five-night Western Caribbean cruises and four-night Bahamas cruises through the end of April.

The Disney Fantasy will continue to sail alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral in 2016. There are some significant changes that lead to two new directions. First, the Eastern Caribbean itinerary ditches St. Martin in favor of the much-anticipated Tortola. On April 30, all ships except the Western Caribbean will depart Falmouth, Jamaica for a third day at sea.

Fares start at $1,120 per person for seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises in a Class 11C stateroom for two. Taxes, duties and port charges are not included.

The Disney Dream will continue its regular three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas on Mondays and Fridays from Port Canaveral with stops in Nassau and Castaway Cay.
