The Realm Hotel is a newly renovated 5-star Canberra hotel located minutes from the city’s main attractions. It’s a great venue for functions and weddings and hosts some of Australia’s most famous politicians (so they must be doing something right!)

The Realm Hotel is located along the National Circuit, next to the Parliament Triangle, 15 minutes from popular places such as the National Gallery of Australia and Burley Griffin, and only 10 km from Canberra Airport.
Little National Hotel
If you plan to drive to Canberra (which we highly recommend) there is free parking on site for hotel guests which is a great sign for the location and convenience.
We stayed in the Executive Suite with king bed, bathroom, spa, kitchen, living room and private balcony overlooking the end of the House.
The rooms are modern, clean and spacious… And the fact that we spend most of our time in our luxurious bathing suits, scrolling through the list of films on demand and Foxtel is a good sign of comfort!
We are also impressed with the small kitchen equipped with Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, dryer, microwave, refrigerator and snacks for dinner.

If you’re a frequent traveler like us, you know you’re in good hands when you have APPELLES Apothecary luxury bathroom equipment at your place of residence.
Realm Hotel guests are provided with APPELLES shampoo, conditioner, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizers saving us from launching our own APPELLES product, which we packed for a trip to Canberra (sensitive skin).
One of the perks of staying at the Realm Hotel is full access to the Evo Health Club or Hale Gym.
Evo Health Club is located in the Realm Hotel with an indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and spa, hydrotherapy.
Burbury Hotel, Canberra
Unfortunately, we didn’t visit Mudd The Spa, but we wanted to add a massage or beauty treatment on our next visit.
The breakfast buffet at Buvette Bistro has a continental selection of bacon, mushrooms and eggs cooked your way, as well as options for a variety of vegetarian dishes such as muesli, cereals, pastries and pancakes.
Although there were 5 food options in the place (and many more options nearby), we still opted for a Buvette and were glad we did. We chose according to the chef’s instructions and the food tasted as good as it looked and we still can’t get over the fall rhubarb.
The wine selection is also impressive. We chose locally grown white and red varieties and both were a real delight.

All in all we had a real 5 star experience at the Realm Hotel and it will be our hotel of choice on our next trip to Canberra.
