Panic At The Disco Chicago – Less than three hours from Friday, panic! At The Disco has postponed their “Viva Las Vengeance” tour stop at Fiserv Forum due to COVID-19.
The band announced via Instagram Stories on Tuesday night that the Milwaukee date will now have to be canceled as “we are unable to find a new date due to venue availability to play this show.”

A second show that was postponed due to the COVID-19 situation — originally scheduled for last Saturday at Chicago’s United Center — will go on. It has been moved to October 28. Previously purchased tickets will be honored and refunds for first-hand tickets will be available through the point of purchase.

Scary! At The Disco toured across North America until October 25 with little wiggle room in the band’s schedule to make it possible to change dates earlier.
The week of the Chicago Makeup Concert will be especially busy at the Fiserve Forum. The Bucks have home games on October 26, 28, 29, 31 and November 2. And there’s a Smashing Pumpkins concert booked for Oct. 30 at the Fiserv Forum.
Milwaukee ticket holders will be refunded through the point of purchase and will receive emails with additional information, according to the group.

Kicking off the group’s Friday concert at Milwaukee’s Fiserve Forum less than three hours after 7 p.m., Panic! That show at the Disco was postponed, as well as Saturday’s show at Chicago’s United Center, due to COVID-19.
“Milwaukee and Chicago, unfortunately, COVID has made it impossible to broadcast these shows and we have to postpone,” Brendan Urie’s band said in a statement released at 4:40 p.m. Friday. “Please hold your tickets while we work on the rescheduling. We are more than disappointed to have to do this and hope to be back soon. More information will be emailed to ticket holders for both shows and we will keep you posted. Running soon !”

Tickets already purchased will be honored for the new date. Generally, refunds are available for first-hand tickets through the point of purchase once the new date is announced.

It was originally a pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 by childhood friends Uri, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith and BRT Wilson. They recorded their first demo while in high school. Shortly after, the band recorded and released their first studio album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out (2005). Popularized by the second single, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”, the album was certified triple platinum in the United States. In 2006, founding bassist BRT Wilson was fired from the band during an extensive world tour and was later replaced by John Walker. The band’s second album, Pretty. weird (2008), was preceded by the single “Nine in the Salt”. The album marked a significant departure from the band’s early sound. Ross and Walker left to support the band’s new direction as Urie and Smith wanted to further change the band’s style. Ross and Walker then formed a new band, Young Vance, leaving Urie and Smith as the remaining members of Terror! at the disco.
Continuing as a duo, Urie and Smith released a new single, “New Perspective”, for the film Jennifer’s Body, and recruited bassist Dallon Weekes and guitarist Ian Crawford as touring musicians for live performances. Weeks was later added to the band’s lineup as a full-time member in 2010. The band’s third studio album, Vices & Virtues (2011), produced by John Feldman and Butch Walker, was recorded solely by Urie and Smith in 2010. Crawford left in 2012 after the tour cycle of Vices & Virtues ended.
As a trio, Urie, Smith and Weeks recorded and released the band’s fourth studio album, Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!, in 2013. Before the album’s release, Smith unceremoniously left the band due to health and medication issues. , leaving Uri and Weeks as the remaining members. The duo recruited guitarist Nate Harris and drummer Dan Pavlovich as touring musicians for live performances.

In 2015, Smith officially left the band after not playing with them since leaving in 2013. Shortly after, Weeks again became a touring member, resulting in Panic! Be Urie’s solo project. In April 2015, “Hallelujah” was released as the debut single from Panic! at the Disco’s fifth studio album, Death of a Bachelor (2016). In December 2017, Weeks officially announced his departure from the group. In March 2018, Panic! At the Disco released “Say Am (Saturday Night)”, the lead single from their sixth studio album, Pray for the Wicked (2018), released in June. Scary! At the Disco’s seventh studio album, Viva Las Vegas, was released on August 19, 2022.
Scary! The Disco was formed in 2004 in the Las Vegas suburb of Summerlin by childhood friend Ryan Ross, who sings and plays guitar, and Spurs Smith, who plays drums.
They invited Fred BRT Wilson from Palo Verde High School to join them on bass, and Wilson invited classmate Braden Urry to play guitar.
Ross was originally the band’s lead singer, but after hearing Urie sing during rehearsals, the band decided to give him lead vocals.

Wtz, who was in Los Angeles with the rest of Fall Out Boy working on the band’s debut album From Under the Cork Tree, flew to Las Vegas to meet the unsigned young band.

After hearing the song “Two to Three” during the band’s practice, Wtz was impressed and immediately wanted the band signed to his label, making the band the first on the new label.
When the news broke, Wtz had signed Panic! (who had yet to play one live show), fans on the Internet began criticizing the band. “Almost immediately we knew what was going to happen,” Ross explained in a 2006 interview. “We had two songs online and people were already guessing what kind of band we were and what we were going to look like.”
During this time, Wtz began hyping the band as much as possible: from wearing “Pete! at the Disco” T-shirts on stage to mentioning the band in interviews. Wtz was quick to praise the band at a press conference the day before the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards: “Some of my bands are coming to Decaydance soon, one of them is Panic! at the Disco,” Wtz said. “Their record is going to be your next favorite record. It’s called Fever You Can’t Sweat Out – buy it before your little brother.”
At the time of the band’s signing, all band members were still in high school (except Ross, who had dropped out of UNLV). Urie graduated in May 2005, and completed studies online while Wilson and Smith left the band for College Park, Maryland, to record their debut album.

Although they only had a handful of songs when they arrived, the rest of the album was quickly formed during marathon sessions.
“We didn’t have a day off for the five and a half weeks we were there, 12 or 14 hours a day,” Ross said in a 2005 interview.
“We were making things up in our heads that weren’t there, and on top of the stress of trying to finish the record, there were four of us living in a one-bedroom apartment with bunk beds,” Ross recalled. “Everybody was going crazy. Someone was writing a new part of the song and someone was saying they didn’t like it because you ate cereal that morning.”
The album is divided into two parts: the first half is mostly electronic dance punk, while the second half features vaudevillian piano, strings and accordion.
