The reservation worked fine. Accepted me as an Acre Plus member and gave me a bigger room. The reception was not good. The girl was arguing with the manager on duty about when to “check out” and it was only 4 p.m. Such conversations can take place behind the scenes and not in front of the guests. The girl who checked me in didn’t want to be there so she had to move on, denying what could have been a nice welcome. Reception requires Accor Plus members to accept additional intentions. Everything was fine except for check-in. Thank you very much for the greeting card Paul. I would appreciate it if the GM/DM would provide a greeting card with expressions etc. Makes it more personal.
We stayed here for a week a month ago, it looked nice from the outside, but the bed, pillows and shower were not very good, everything you can eat for breakfast was ripped out, it was very noisy outside and it was difficult to sleep, but it was good that it was something close. places.

We decided to bring our two grandchildren to spend the night. Since it was school holidays, everywhere was booked, so only one night was left. The main feature of Novotel is the staff. I was made very welcome at check-in and the diamond status was gratefully accepted. Rossina (sorry if I misunderstood) left board games and small bags of chocolates for the children. The weather was very poor so indoor games were appreciated. Also, the staff at BLVD Cafe are very friendly. We had a deluxe family room which had a separate sleeping area with 2 single beds for the kids with their own TV. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom was terrible. The door was left open because the shower wall didn’t go into the shower and it was difficult for the kids to bathe. There was no place to hang towels or place a toilet. Despite the rainy and cold weather, the children enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was packed! When looking at the building, you can immediately see the missing pieces of concrete under the balconies from various angles. The building is definitely showing its age and could use some improvement. Breakfast in the restaurant was plentiful and at the usual price, including barista coffee. Parking is located next to the Paradise Center and costs $18 per night. We don’t live in Surfers Paradise and prefer Broadbeach and the south but this is a great place for those who do.
The room was beautiful. There was a view of the sea which was amazing. Daily cleaning was average. Refreshments (tea and coffee) were not changed daily and had to be requested at reception, also the soap/shampoo containers were empty on arrival and had to go to reception again on the second day when they were still not sorted. We had dinner at the cafe/restaurant on the ground floor a couple of nights and was very disappointed with the quality of the food. It was served warm and the steak was of poor quality.
Booked through Luxury Escapes. A great deal with many inclusions such as breakfast and drinks. The only problem was the elevator. Lack of space, time and access to basement parking.
