The first appointment at our institution will generally be a consultation appointment. The reason we choose to book a consultation appointment for our patients in most cases is that it allows patients the opportunity to meet and enjoy their dentist, to speak with their dentist before treatment begins and to receive a discount on their dentist treatment before it begins.
At your consultation appointment, if you are referred for a specific problem or have a specific problem that you would like the dentist to focus on, the dentist will examine this area. If you want a detailed examination, the dentist will examine your entire mouth. During the examination, the dentist will discover everything in the mouth that requires treatment, that is the diagnostic level of your appointment.
